Where we work

Royal Windows and Gutters is based in Covington, Washington, and we serve homes across South King County, Pierce County and Thurston County.

The cities we work in regularly are Covington, Kent, Renton, Maple Valley, Auburn, Federal Way, Sammamish, Issaquah, Puyallup and Olympia. We are a service area business, so there is no shop to visit. We come to your house.

South King County

Covington is home, and most of our work happens within a short drive of it: Kent, Renton, Maple Valley, Auburn and Federal Way.

The housing across this stretch is mixed, and the exterior problems are not. Whether a home went up decades ago or in the last few years, the same three forces are working on it: rain for most of the year, heavy conifer cover, and a lot of shade. That combination puts moss on north facing roof slopes, needles in gutters, green film on shaded siding and a dark cast on any driveway that does not get direct sun.

Lots here also tend to be generous with trees. A single mature fir at the corner of a house will keep a gutter run busy on its own, and a few of them together will decide how often the roof needs looking at. Tree cover is usually a better guide to your schedule than the calendar is.

Sammamish and Issaquah

We work in Sammamish and Issaquah as well. Homes on this side tend to sit higher, with more slope, more standing timber and more properties tucked into the trees.

More shade and more conifers means more of everything we handle: heavier needle loads in the gutters, moss that establishes faster on the slopes that never see sun, and siding that greens up on the walls the light does not reach. Homes with two stories on a sloping lot also tend to have the glass that never gets cleaned, because there is nowhere safe to put a ladder. That is the kind of window we are here for.

Pierce County

In Pierce County we serve Puyallup. It is the same climate and the same set of problems, and it draws a lot of the same calls: roof moss, packed gutters, a driveway that has gone green in the shade and windows that have not been done in a while.

Thurston County

We reach Olympia at the south end of our area. Thurston County is, if anything, wetter and greener than the north end of our territory, and roof moss is the call we get most often down there. If you are in Olympia, tell us when you book and we will fit you into a day that makes sense for the drive.

The same eight services everywhere

The service list does not change with the city. In every one of them we offer:

• Window cleaning, inside and out or outside only, priced per pane
• Gutter cleaning, interior and exterior, with a 60 day warranty at no extra charge
• Roof cleaning and moss removal, brushed rather than pressure washed, gutters and a moss treatment included
• Driveway and patio cleaning for concrete, walkways, decks and basketball courts
• Soft washing for siding and for roofs carrying built up dirt and grime
• Holiday lights along the roofline and gutters
• Moss treatment on its own, for a roof you want to keep clean
• The screen clean upgrade, added to a window cleaning

We are a residential only company in every city on this list. Homes are the work.

City lines around here are not obvious, and plenty of neighborhoods sit right on a boundary or carry a mailing address for a city they are not technically inside. If you are not certain your address falls in our area, just ask.

Send your address through the booking form or get in touch with it, and we will tell you straight away. If you are outside what we cover, we will say so rather than leave you waiting.

Homeowners on a yearly rotation, where the same work happens at the same time each year, can lock their price for three years. If you are in one of the cities above and you want the outside of your house handled on a schedule instead of a scramble, that is the easiest way to do it.
